Leah Duininck was raised in Texas and went to Oral Robert's University, graduating with a major in Elementary and Special education. Shortly after graduation, she married Mitch Duininck. She has lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma since that time, raising their three boys and three girls. Leah and her husband have been on multiple international medical mission trips, including several disaster response trips. Leah lived with her family in Ghana, West Africa, for two years and recently spent 10 months in Kabul, Afghanistan with her husband and their two youngest children. Leah’s husband Mitch along with several partners founded and run IN HIS IMAGE a faith based medical training program for Family Practice Physicians here in the US as well as China, Egypt, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan. Leah has worked along side her husband for 25 years in the various domestic and international projects of the program. Leah has a passion to love the unloved, and to tell the stories of the unreached through speaking and writing.
