HOSTESS: Your primary function will be to serve tea to the guests at your table and make them feel welcome. NOTE: As a hostess, you are not required to purchase tickets for the entire table. You are only responsible to purchase a ticket for yourself. However, if you do not purchase other tickets at your table, they will be sold randomly to ladies in the congregation, so if you desire to have family & friends sit at your table, you may want to either collect monies from them in advance or purchase yourself and either sell or give to them.
Each hostess will be responsible for providing two teapots for a table of eight. If you do not have teapots, please indicate below in the appropriate box, as we have a limited number we can provide.
Each hostess should to arrive early on Saturday, May 7. You will need to set out your teapots (or borrow pots from our supply) and make last minute preparations for your guests. The event officially begins @ 10:30. We recommend you try to arrive by 10:00 a.m.
SPONSOR: Perhaps you are unable to attend the Tea, but you would like to provide the finances for others to attend OR you want to hostess and invite others to sit at your table (family, neighbors or ladies from your SS class). Cost to sponsor a table is $80 for eight tickets.
We know you will enjoy the tea and we thank you in advance for your help in creating a successful event. Also, remember that you do not have to have a mother or daughter to attend. It’s a Ladies event to be enjoyed by all. Please return Hostess/Sponsor Registration form to Information Booth (at regular church services) or Church Receptionist (during regular office hours).
